For the past few years, this bar has changed hands, each new owner leaving their mark and making each new change an improvement on the establishment. But now, less than two months into fresh ownership, we’re not just continuing the legacy- we are redefining it.

When we took this on, we had one vision in mind: create a place where everyone belongs. Whether you are a local bringing in family from out of town, a couple on a first date looking to break the ice with more than just an appetizer, or a group of friends out for a night where everyone in your friends group can find something they enjoy (because lets be honest all of our friends are not built the same).

We wanted a space that balances excitement with comfort, where you can come in for a cold drink not realizing you were craving an amazing empanada, then get a wild hair and decide you want to try axe throwing for thirty minutes. Maybe that means a laid-back ladies night filled with giggles, karaoke and cocktails. Or maybe it is the perfect place to shake off the week’s stress by blowing off some steam! And for those businesses looking for something beyond the typical mandatory meeting and quarterly lunch in our venue is the ideal setting to create the perfect environment for comradery, connection and growth in those work relationships that you will see the results of in your business soon.

The most amazing thing about Sip Happens is how diverse and flexible we are! We have had events that range from baby showers, wedding rehearsals, engagement parties, family reunions, church gatherings, homeschooling events, yoga days, line dancing groups, divorce parties and more. We are happy to adapt to your needs and please feel free to reach out to our GM to make your unique event come to life!

  • As long as they are accompanied by a parent anyone over the age of eight can throw. We have tons of other games, activities and entertainment options available if you have younger children with you. However our bar is 18+ after Nine on the weekends.

  • While our axe throwing is paid by the hour the venue itself is open to everyone with no cover charge. We would love for you to come in and see all of the free games and activities we have to offer. Sit back and watch your friends throw axes or just enjoy some of our delicious food with a cold drink.

  • We recently upgraded our venue and put in a kitchen, so we do ask that you do not bring outside food or drink unless previously discussed with a manager for special events. We have tons of delicious options for you and your group to enjoy.

  • Our pits have two targets which allows for eight people to share a pit. If you have more than eight people it is still $25.00 per person. We would be happy to add another pit to accommodate your party.
